The NEW NAPM Core and Specialist Programmes

Run in conjunction with "Paper Matters"

The NAPM has been working in consultation with members to update the successful Introductory Programme which has been running for the last 5 years. We have listened to what our members tell us about the COST, RELEVANCE, LOCATION and IN-COMPANY issues that prevent them nominating candidates, and to address these concerns we are now offering a new opportunity in the form of a unitised programme which will allow FLEXIBILITY, COST SAVINGS and a TWO-TIER approach in the levels offered.

The new programme will accommodate NEW ENTRANTS into the industry by offering a Core Programme to introduce delegates to the paper industry, and a Specialist Programme aimed at NEW and EXPERIENCED STAFF who need either refresher training or development interventions to accommodate progression in their organisation.

Dates have been agreed for the first two Core Programmes, and the first 6 modules of the specialist programme.

Candidates may choose to attend one, two, three or all four of the Core Programme Units.  Successful completion of an individual unit will result in the candidate gaining a CORE MODULE AWARD.  Those choosing to complete all 4 will receive a CORE PROGRAMME CERTIFICATE.  If that is achieved within one year, the candidate will also be eligible for the NAPM STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD.

Candidates successfully completing individual units from the Specialist Programme will gain a SPECIALIST MODULE AWARD, and on completion of three units, will gain a SPECIALIST PROGRAMME CERTIFICATE.

All awards and certificates will be branded with the NAPM logo.

The programmes will initially be run in Coventry.  In addition, we will manage requests for specific regional courses as required, assuming there is a minimum of 10 delegates on the course.

The cost TO NAPM MEMBERS for each candidate is £170 for a 1 day programme, or £340 for a 2-day programme.  All costs are subject to VAT at the current rate.     Costs to non NAPM members will be £200/£400 + VAT respectively.
