President: 

Alistair Gough (The Paper Company)

Alistair Gough has been the Managing Director of The Paper Company, part of the leading global fine paper merchanting group PaperlinX, since 2004. Alistair joined the industry in 1980 as a technical trainee within the Robert Horne Group, during which time he studied Paper & Print Technology. During his 24 years at Robert Horne he progressed to become the Group Technical Manager before transferring to the more commercial areas of the business, initially running the company's Graphic and Carton Board Division before becoming the Marketing Manager for the Commercial Print sector. In 1998 he was appointed to the Main Board in the position of Group Operations Director before becoming the Director for the Sign & Display Division in 2001.

Alistair comments:

"I have been very privileged to work for two great companies during my career that have enabled me to progress to a position where I have the honour of becoming the President of the NAPM. While the industry faces many challenges it also has many opportunities and I hope during my period as President the NAPM will continue to support the development and progression of its member Companies and their employees to achieve even greater success in the future"
